“When my son was resisting all group activities, his teachers seized on his interest in puppets and developed an entire unit on it. The kids made puppets, then worked in pairs to create and perform shows with them. I was invited to bring in our Muppet collection from home and the class took a field trip to Puppetworks. My son was over the moon.”

Our Little Stars 2s Program is warm and joyful, full of creative play and thoughtful care. With a uniquely low staff-to-child ratio, we ensure each Little Star develops trustful, nurturing relationships with the new grown-ups in their lives, helping them feel safe and secure to explore, play, and learn.

3s and 4s Overview

Rainbows and Bears 2 classes of 15 children, 4 teachers each.

LEARN MORE

Engaging activities and close relationships are the hallmarks of our 3s/4s Program. Children use their imagination and burgeoning understandings of the world around them to play and create with myriad open-ended materials - blocks, paint, sand, water, art materials, and manipulatives.

Music

Jeremy Zmuda, a veteran early childhood music teacher and composer, brings his experience, talent, and enthusiasm into each of our classes every week. Jeremy is also the founder and director of Musication, which provides home music lessons and music camps to children throughout Brooklyn.

Yoga

Jovan Clay, our longtime yoga teacher, describes her class as fostering creative expression, imagination, self-awareness, and respect for others. Children go through an adventure of poses, breath work, balancing, and group activities, and are even invited to make up their own poses.
